Thanks to all who came to the PirateCon...
Just a note to thank all of you who came to Pirate Con, the 32nd
Anniversary of RHPS on the Queen Mary hosted by Midnight Insanity. It
was great to see so many of our friends from around the country.
Now that we have recovered and the dust has settled, we have a chance
to reflect on the great time we had and hopefully you did too. Thank
all of you for kinds posts, emails and comments.
If you ordered a "Lie and Say you were There" package it will go out
this week.
At Midnight Insanity we realize you have many options on which to
spend your travel and vacation dollars. We thank you for choosing to
spend them with us and hope that you feel your money and time were
well spent.
This was the fifth convention we have hosted, and each of them has had
a unique flavor and legacy. Apparently all the guests in the ship
thought our pirates were employees and took several photos throughout
the weekend.
Please stop by if you are ever in town. Hope to see many of you at
whatever the next convention ends up being.
After each convention we host...we swear to never do one again. Then
we end up doing one. We have nothing to say right now.

Here are some last minute directions...
- We recommend you use the Queen Mary Hotel Entrance
elevators, as they work better than the ones installed on the ship.
- The Hotel Registration Lobby is located on the 'A' Deck, or 3rd floor off the elevators. Turn left as you exit the elevators, and board the ship. The registration desk should be toward the center of the ship, on your left.
- Most of our festivities will take place in our home venue,
The Royal Theater. From the Hotel Entrance elevators, exit on the 2nd floor and proceed up the stairs directly in front of you. Do not board the ship yet!! Follow the long hallway till you can go back downstairs to the ground floor. Turn left and board the ship. The Royal Theater is off to the right...
- Friday's events will take place in the Queen's
Salon, located on the Promenade Deck, or the 4th floor off the elevators. Exit the elevators, turn left and board the ship. The Queen's Salon is right there (both in front, and to the right).
Performers!! Be sure to sign in when you register for the performances you are in, and confirm with the casting directors during the run-through periods. If we do not hear from you, we may reassign your roles. Your directors are:
Special Performance music should also be turned in at Registration.

Due to a technical error outside our control, emails and notifications regarding this event, which were supposed to be sent out months ago, were never released.
Due to the unfortunate delay in notification, we are extending casting deadlines for performances until July 15th.

The con is fast approaching!!
PIRATECON VENDORS:
VooDoo Pin
Rocky and movie pins and magnets. Cast leaders should
talk to them about buying quanitites of buttons at wholesale and
making money on them at their show. MI sells them all the time at a
profit of close to $100 per month. You can buy 50 pins for $25 and
sell them for $50 then order more. You can send back unsold ones for
new ones. They will also have special original t-shirts.
JAMIE ROXX
Sold out ALL of his paintings in three hours at Cirque du Rockeil. His
paintings are featured in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
SALS CLOSET
Will feature more Rocky rarities and raffles.
More vendors expected...
The Thursday Reception and the Saturday main event have been moved
into the Royal Theater
in order to make it easier in regards to sound
equipment and prop moving. This will also make it much easier on
transportation and rehearsal schedule for the all star show and other
performances. Now EVERY event is on board instead of having Saturday
night at the Performing Arts Center across the bay.
ROOM RATES ARE THE SAME but are subject to availability now. You will
still get the discount IF there are rooms available.

REMEMBER Aside from traditional costume contest categories..there will
be an Alternative costume themed ROCKY PIRATE contest.

Deadlines are fast approaching!! Rooms aboard the Queen Mary are reserved through tomorrow (June 26th). After that, our block of rooms will be released to the general public. You may still be able to get a room after the 26th, it's just easier now. Note: The Queen Mary will not charge the first night to your card, that's primarily a Vegas thing. Next up, convention casting is currently underway. We'll accept applications up through July 1st, which gives you about a week to get your app in. Let us know if you wish to perform in the
