Anyone not here is missing out like you could not imagine...if their Thursday night effort is a reflection on the rest of the weekend, this will become the most awesome fan con ever.

Pat's here, having a merry ole time. she took plenty of photos and singed autographs...she got on the dance floor and grooved away(i was freaking with her...many others were too- she's being such a good sport) Bob Simon was there as well being the sweetheart that he is. The WhiteTrashDebutants were a totally cool band. Kudos to Mark for that score. The hotel is sweet, and no probs so far.

looking forward to tomorrow...

Sioux here from Wisconsin. (AKA Marlyn Monroe in blue dress, Floorshow Columbia, Magenta) I just got home after a long Sunday journey of trains, buses, planes and automobiles...(I think there was a movie with a similar title...hummmm)

Thank you MI for hosting one of my most unforgetable cons....it is up there with the 25th which is pretty difficult to beat! You California folks are extremely kind, generous and friendly people and I appreciate and love you all! Infact you MAY convince me to move from Wisconsin to CA instead of NYC....who knows...It depends on the still photo job market. (any leads?)

I hope everyone in the community realizes and thanks this cast, and all of the "helpers", for the endless hours of preparation and love that they put into this con! Well done! Enough said.

It also was great to get together with the "old timers" that I always see but never get sick of. (you know who you are)

If anyone thinks I took a photo of them and wants me to scan it and send it....please feel free to e-mail me, tell me who you are and give me an e-mail address. (Send the info now but give me some time to send it. I will need a couple of weeks to save up the cash for processing.)

If I know you, and you are not already on the Sioux holiday card list, feel free to give me your snail mail address....it really is not that big of a deal but some people get a kick out of getting the annual photo. (They are NOT always Rocky related though...sorry)

I better not waste more cyber space. Please keep in touch you guys and maybe I'll see ya in a con in 2002....Oct is too soon for me to get the funds together again. :( Sioux from Wisconsin

Overall, I think that MI did an absolutely wonderful job for this convention. I think it was well planned and there was so much to do. It was truely great seeing and performing with everyone. Midnight Insanity should be absolutely proud of what they have done. Their hard work paid off.

Besides MI, everyone did wonderful preshows for the Oscar Horror Night. It was cool having Cassandra Peterson (Elivia) there, she and her crew were veyr nice. Bob Simon did a bang up job. Shock Treatment went well. But the best part of it for me was Patrica Quinn. The fact that she had no inhabitions about hanging out with all of us wither at the thursday night party or anyday by the pool was beyond me. She was always there signing autographs, takign pictures, or jsut talking with everyone eye to eye. She really is a spectacular woman.

The saturday night performance was fantastic. I think more applause should be given to MI's tech crew who did everything at all times to make the show really work.

The only thing that bugged me was showing those animation clips before the movie and after Patrcia Quinn introduced the movie and said "let there be lips". Not so much because of the content (which maybe was not the best considerign Pat Quinn was in front row) but also since it went against her introduction. I understand she herself was upset by this.

But all in all, I think the whole con was a complete success. Leave it to MI, deifntely one of the best Rocky casts, to put on such a wonderful convention. Good job everyone.

To Everyone at the FGTH con,
I had a great time. Having not been to a con since 1990 I was astounded by how well this can went and what was done. You guys all made it one of the best I have ever been to!
Getting Pat, Bob and Cassandra was fantastic, The Awards show was great and all the performers did a suppa duppa job!
It was great to meet everyone I have only talked too online and to meet new fans I didn't know.
Polly Esther, Dave, "the Bob", Ed, Sue, Trish, Sal, Pat, Kitten, MI, The guys from Japan, and EVERYONE ELSE, I love you all.
Being a "Old school" RH person I am very proud to see the newer fans embrace RH as I have and to keep it alive while constatly loosing theaters. Keep it up guys! Don't let RH fade into memory...DON'T DREAM IT!, BE IT!

Since no one has posted on this yet, or at least not that I've seen, I figured I'd be the first to congratulate EVERYONE that played for the West Coast team on their kick ass performance in our 26-12 victory over the East Coast losers.

it was a good game....you started giving us a good run for a while there and damn you Kiem and your "I can't believe he fuckin caught that" catches.

Bit of trivia for y'all...

While you were eating dick shapes and throwing your balls around on Sunday, KROQ (a local radio station) was having their "Weenie Roast" party at the beach. Kinda funny, huh?

And I am sorry Marty and I didn't make the Picnic, it's just that neither of us had stopped moving since the morning before. We and our entire tech crew were at the theatre until about 5:30ish Sunday morning breaking down props and equipment (Tech didn't return to the hotel to pack their own stuff until about 3ish Sunday afternoon. they had to drop stuff off at the rental company and our theatre in Long Beach) and complaining about the janitorial staff at the theatre. In case you didn't hear, the janitors were being really lewd and disgusting to a number of the performers and audience that night. The police were called by the theatre management themselves, and we believe the situation was handled. Our deepest, most sincere apologies to those of you who experienced this disgustitude. We leer at you ourselves, but we're more covert about it. HEH!

Love you guys!

Hi guys,

Like so many others, I want to thank some people.

Obviously, first I've got to thank MI (and anyone else who was involved in the throwing of the convention.) It must just be a shit-ton of work and hassle and anguish to put on a convention and I'm incredibly grateful that there are still people and casts crazy enough to want to do it. (I'm especially amazed at the pillows, and the DENTON letters, and the costume contest prizes...you guys must have had to quit your jobs to have the time to put this thing on.) And MI Becky, I'm upset that I never got a chance to meet you and thank you for putting up with all my questions and stuff. Someday I will...

The other person I'm mad to have missed is Ruth. Good luck in France and China. Hope to occasionally see you anyway, though I managed to miss you at this one, so maybe I shouldn't hold my breath.

More thanks...thanks to everyone who put on preshows, put together creative costumes, and did various other things for the enjoyment of others. Thanks to James Norman for the milkshake. Thanks to the lovely and delightful Patricia Quinn, with whom I rode an elevator. She complimented me on my costume. I was so surprised and happy to be speaking with her that I forgot to push the button for my floor. (I know people like to bitch about her being drunk, but she's so sweet when she's drunk that I'd hate to see her sober.)

Thanks to everybody in Shock Treatment for putting on a good show. And everybody in Rocky for that matter. Especially those who had to fill in for others at the last minute--Mom and Liz and maybe some others that I don't even know about.

Thanks to the documentary guys and to Elvira and her group; both were a good time. I thought it was cool that not all of the Elvira questions were Richard-related, but I thought it was weird that *none* were. Oh well. What could they have told us about him anyway, besides that he kicks ass, which we already know?

I loved the picnic. It was a weird feeling to be outdoors with Rocky people in broad daylight. It was like a warped family reunion. Congrats West Coast for winning the softball game (I live west of the Mississippi, so I guess that technically puts me on your side?)

Thanks everybody who came. Everybody was incredibly nice, and I'm glad I finally got around to meeting some of you that I've heard of but never spoken to.

Was anybody else surprised that Bob Simon was a virgin? How unlikely was that?

Oh, and thanks to Fox. They're putting "Phantom of the Paradise" on DVD in September...

Love, Lori.
